[Everyone] Registration deadline - EWASS Special Session 34 on data visualisation and machine learning

Apologies if you receive this email more than once.

We would like to invite you to our Special Session 34: Understanding data:
Visualisation, machine learning, and reproducibility at EWASS 2019, Lyon,
France.

Our session is organised across three chief blocks as highlighted in the
title, and we aim to focus on following topics:

   -

   Best practices in data analysis and visualisation techniques
   -

   Spatial and nonspatial data visualisation
   -

   Dealing with big data
   -

   Machine learning and data mining techniques and current status in
   astronomy
   -

   Creating and using reproducible workflows for reproducible research
   -

   Best practices for reproducibility


We invite your contributions in form of oral and poster presentations on
relevant topics.

Important upcoming deadlines:

   10 Feb. 2019  : End of very early bird registration
   -

   3 Mar. 2019    : Abstract submission deadline
   -

This session would operate in synergy with Hack Day at EWASS

In this EWASS 2019 session we strive to promote diversity in scientific
topic, level of expertise, and demographics such as seniority, gender,
race/ethnicity, and country of origin.
