Dear Colleagues,
I hope you’re doing well during these strange times. Stay healthy!
I would like to bring to your attention 3 postdoc positions on FRBs: https://jobregister.aas.org/ad/f6feffba
There is one position available at each of U. of Amsterdam, ASTRON (Netherlands Institute for Radio Astronomy) and JIVE (Joint Institute for VLBI ERIC). Nonetheless, all positions are within my research group and part of the same “AstroFlash” project. As the ad describes, the project focuses on the use of the EVN (European VLBI Network) and LOFAR (Low-Frequency Array) for FRB science.
Apologies for contradictory and confusing information in the ad itself. In particular:
- The deadline is Thursday, September 3, 2020 (although applications will be accepted until all 3 positions are filled)
- Application materials are most easily submitted via email to personnel at astron.nl <mailto:personnel at astron.nl> and hessels at astron.nl <mailto:hessels at astron.nl> (please include “AstroFlash” in the subject)
Cheers, and feel free to forward this to people who may be interested,
Jason
