First Announcement of IAUS 369 of IAU GA 2022
Dear Colleagues,
We are happy to announce that FRB 2022 titled, “The Dawn of Cosmology & Multi-messenger Studies with Fast Radio Bursts”, will be held as a symposium (IAUS 369) from 2 - 4 August 2022 at the IAU General Assembly in Busan, South Korea. The field has now reached a stage where progress requires, and will benefit from, collaborations and exchange of knowledge and ideas with researchers from across the electromagnetic spectrum and potentially gravitational waves as well. The symposium will include invited and contributed talks as well as significant time for discussion.
Abstract submission is now open. Presently, the IAU General Assembly 2022 is planned to be in a "hybrid" format with speakers encouraged to present their talks "in-person". A few virtual oral contributions will be accommodated in each session. All talks will be recorded and viewable online after sessions for those who have registered for the conference.
More information on the symposium can be found here - https://pulsarastronomy.net/IAUS369/
More general information regarding abstract submission, travel grants and accommodation can be found at the IAU GA 2022 website - http://www.iauga2022.org/ . We strongly recommend early registration to avail of the grants.
The format of the symposium will be further updated if necessary, depending on the pandemic situation.
Looking forward to seeing you in-person at FRB 2022!
Do share this announcement with other colleagues and FRB aficionados.
