[Everyone] FRB: IAU Symposium 369 Information

Apologies for hijacking the pulsar mailing list but we hope that this is of interest to at least some of you.

On behalf of the SOC for the IAU Symposium 369, we’d like to alert you to the release of a talk schedule and a related opportunity. The schedule is at https://pulsarastronomy.net/IAUS369/programme/ and includes discussion blocks designed to encourage remote participation and interaction. So, we have designated each discussion session as either “Breaking News” or “Instrumentation and New Projects”. Under those two categories, there are two blocks (morning and afternoon in Busan) to make it easier to participate from any time zone.
We encourage you to register for the Discussion Sessions and submit abstracts for either “Breaking News” or “Instrumentation and New Projects” talks using this form - https://forms.gle/xrbgU1rFoiYSnWcEA . These are 5-minute, oral presentations integrated with discussion sessions. The goal is to present succinct ideas and encourage interaction between in-person and remote participants. The deadline for abstract submission is 28th June 2022.
You do not have to be registered for the IAU GA2022 to submit an abstract or attend the Discussion sessions. As these talks are outside the standard oral sessions, their abstracts will not be a part of the official IAU abstract booklet. We hope that this will lead to a productive symposium for you and the whole FRB community.
