*Time domain astronomy is expanding its realms as technology progresses and
it makes us able to explorenew regions of the parameter space of transient
phenomena. Transient phenomena span the lifetime ofa star from its birth to
past its death. On one side of the spectrum, masers serve as signposts of
starformation and respond to changes in the star-forming environment due to
activities associated with thestar formation. Study of flares in masers
associated with star-forming regions help us understand theevolutionary
sequence of birth of new stars. On the other hand, many of the most
energetic explosionsseem to have a common denominator in neutron stars or
black holes and their environment. Many of thelatest discovered transients
seem to involve different flavours of these common denominators. The
studyof transient phenomena at all scales is key to understanding the
deepest underlying laws of physics.*



*In this session we plan to cover the latest results on accretion burst and
episodic ejections of star-forming cores, on neutron stars (including
pulsars, magnetars, binary systems and fast radio bursts) and finally on
black holes (including AGN, TDE and microquasars). A particular focus of
the session will be the new techniques that are allowing the unveiling of
new and unexplored parts of the transients' parameter space and that will
guarantee continued discoveries in the era of the new big instruments for
radio astronomy.These include (but are not limited to) new and prospective
search methods, algorithms, machine learningapplications, RFI excision
techniques.*
