Dear colleagues,

We are happy to announce that the registration and abstract submission
<https://sites.google.com/inaf.it/pulsar2025/registration> for "Pulsar 2025
- a conference in memory of Nichi D'Amico" is now open.

The conference closely coincides with the fifth anniversary of Professor
D’Amico's passing, and marks fifteen years since the pulsar congress
<http://pulsar.oa-cagliari.inaf.it/Pulsar-Conference-2010/> he organized in
Sardinia in 2010.

Reflecting Professor D’Amico’s wide-ranging interests and passionate
advocacy for pulsar research, the conference will cover multiple facets of
modern pulsar science. Topics will span observational and theoretical
studies, from pulsar search techniques, pulsar timing and timing arrays, to
advances in technology and future infrastructure plans. The agenda will
also include discussions on transient phenomena, and activities promoting
education and citizen science within the radio-time domain.

*PROGRAMME*
The conference will start in the morning of Monday 22 September and end in
the  afternoon of Friday 26. A social trip to the Sardinia Radio Telescope
will be organised for the afternoon of Wednesday 24. The social dinner is
also scheduled for the same day.

*PRACTICAL INFO*
*Venue*: The conference will be held at the Calaserena Resort
<https://www.bluserena.it/en/hotels-and-resorts/calaserena-resort/>, in
Geremeas (CA), where we expect to host all participants. Full board
accommodation at a special rate (125 euro in a double room for single
occupancy, 78 euro per person in a double room) is offered to all
conference participants booking within May 7. **After this date, the number
of rooms in the block-booking will be limited to 100 until June 7, to 80
until July 7 and to 60 until July 31. A 10% deposit is required to confirm
your booking. The rooms. however, are fully refundable until August 14.
Since September in Sardinia is high season, we strongly recommend that you
*make your reservation at Calaserena at the earliest. *

*Childcare*: A Mini Club for children 3 to 12 years old, as well as baby
sitting service for infants younger than 3, will be organised during the
conference hours. Childcare expenses will be covered through the INAF
Gender Equality Plan for up to 15 children and two infants. Please,
indicate your childcare needs in the registration form. Funds will be
provided on a first-come first-serve basis (though we hope that they will
be enough for everyone).

*Transportation*: we are planning to organise transportation to get to the
hotel from the Cagliari airport for the 21st and the 26th (and/or 27th). We
will send a form to all participants to collect information on your
arrival/departure timetables later on. Public transportation is available
and the hotel can also arrange pick-up options, in case the conference bus
timetables won't work for you.
