[Everyone] Fast Radio Bursts in the Local Universe in Taiwan 2025

Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that the Fast Radio Bursts in the Local Universe
in Taiwan 2025 conference
<https://events.asiaa.sinica.edu.tw/workshop/20250523/> will be held
at *National
Cheng Kung University, Tainan City, Taiwan, from May 23 to 25, 2025*. This
*in-person* conference aims to cover a comprehensive range of topics,
exploring both observational and theoretical perspectives on Fast Radio
Bursts (FRBs) and related transients.

The primary objective of the conference is to refine the scientific goals
of the Bustling Universe Radio Survey Telescope in Taiwan (BURSTT) by
incorporating insights from the broader FRB community. This includes
identifying key questions in FRB research, such as the nature of their
progenitors, the properties of their host galaxies, and their potential as
cosmological tools. Discussions will also focus on how BURSTT’s design and
capabilities can uniquely contribute to answering these questions.
