Hi everyone,

In principle, this email is primarily of interest to users of pcm
<https://psrchive.sourceforge.net/manuals/pcm/>. However, the changes to
PSRCHIVE that were pushed to the main branch today might also have
unanticipated impacts on other applications. If you discover any problems
with PSRCHIVE following these changes, please let me know; you can also
roll back to the previous version of PSRCHIVE with the following command

git checkout 2025-04-24

The changes released today allow pcm to simultaneously model multiple
pulsars and allow the instrumental response to vary with pointing, as
briefly summarized at

https://psrchive.sourceforge.net/manuals/pcm/beam.shtml

and described in more detail by Guillemot et al. (2025)

Other changes that may have broader impact are primarily related to fixing
memory leaks.

Cheers,
Willem
