<div dir="auto">The first call for applications for PhD scholarships in the UK through the Bell Burnell Fund is now open! This covers up to 4 years and is aimed specifically at groups that are currently underrepresented in physics. it is funded through an
endowment from Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell (from her recent landmark Breakthrough Prize win), and administered by the IOP. For more information, please go to:</div>

<div dir="auto">I can think of no more appropriate potential recipients for this first round than undergraduates coming from, or who have shown interest in, the pulsar community! In the UK there are now several pulsar/NS groups to which students can apply </div>
