I am very happy to share that in a press release today, the Honourable François Philippe Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, announced Canada’s intention to seek full membership in the Square Kilometre Array Observatory (SKAO). This major
announcement is consistent with our community’s recommendations for SKA participation in the Canadian Astronomy Long-Range Plan 2020-2030 (LRP2020).<br>
