it is our pleasure to announce the meeting  "The challenge of
transitional millisecond pulsars” that will take place at the
INAF Astronomical Observatory of Rome on March 21-23, 2018.

This meeting is supported by the PHAROS COST Action
(http://www.cost.eu/COST_Actions/ca/CA16214) within working group 4
"Magnetic field formation, evolution, (in)stability and neutron star
population study " and working group 5  "Neutron star magnetospheres,
acceleration mechanisms, environment and jets". The meeting is also
supported by the INAF Astronomical Observatory of Rome and the
Associazione Cefalù and Astronomy.

The meeting is organised as a “thinkshop”, with some invited
review talks, followed by broad and participated discussion. There
will be room for a very limited number of contributed talks.
